2021 Fireshed Highlights

In 2021, the Northern Colorado Fireshed Collaborative saw substantial growth and expansion of participation and interest in our mission, sadly driven in part by increasing frequency of devastating wildfires (and now urban conflagrations) across northern Colorado. A few of our successes are highlighted below. In addition to these, we finalized our collaborative framework, kicked off a landscape-level risk assessment process to inform our long-term strategy, and began developing a framework to track and monitor our progress towards our long-term desired outcomes. We look forward to building on this momentum with strengthened partnerships, new learning opportunities, and streamlined information sharing for cross-boundary planning and project tracking in 2022.
