Investing in Wildfire Resilience
Since the Fireshed Fund’s launch in 2023, over $2.4 million in funding has been awarded to 12 community connected partners across the fireshed’s boundary to date. The Fireshed Fund awards grants to community partners across the Northern Colorado Fireshed boundary that adds capacity for partners, enhances the readiness of the fireshed, and increases the pace and scale of forest treatments.

Building Skills to Increase Wildfire Mitigation in Larimer County
Three responders from Rist Canyon Volunteer Fire Department (RCVFD) wrapped up an S-212 Chainsaw Course lead by The Ember Alliance. The training helped bring together participants from Glacier View, Poudre Canyon, and Rist Canyon volunteer fire departments.
