Fuels Reduction Projects Taking Place Next Week in Clear Creek Ranger District
June 3, 2022
Manual thinning and hand piling activities will begin on the 2021 South Zone Manual Treatment Contract located on the Clear Creek Ranger District beginning the week of June 6, 2022. In addition, we anticipate that mechanical treatment will continue on the Misery Timber Sale within the next few weeks. These projects address 139 acres of hazardous fuels north and west of Central City, including areas near Pickle Gulch and Cold Springs campgrounds.
