Partner Project Spotlight: Marys Lake Forest Health Project

After years of planning, the Mary’s Lake Forest Health Project, managed by the Estes Valley Watershed Coalition, has started! Crews are now working at thinning trees and building piles to address the danger of wildfire in this high-risk area. This project will also help protect water supply in Mary’s Lake. Currently, the project is on track to have 15-20 acres thinned by the end of 2022. The remaining acreage will be completed next year.
