Partner Spotlight: Colorado State Forest Service
The mission of the Colorado State Forest Service (CSFS) is to achieve stewardship of Colorado’s diverse forest environments for the benefit of present and future generations. CSFS is a service and outreach agency of the Warner College of Natural Resources at Colorado State University.
Together with other natural resource organizations, the CSFS strives to provide comprehensive support for the care of our natural environment. This exchange of technical assistance and information among cooperating organizations ensures the commitment to a common goal — future forests providing benefits to future generations. CSFS maintains 17 field offices in Colorado. Our state office is in Fort Collins on the Colorado State University Foothills Campus.
CSFS staff has been an integral part of the Northern Colorado Fireshed Collaborative (NCFC) since the beginning, helping to guide Fireshed strategy and implementation of critical mitigation projects on a land-scape scale.
