Fireshed Fund

About the Fund

Since its launch in 2023, the Northern Colorado Fireshed Fund has awarded more than $2.4 million to 15 community-connected partners across the fireshed boundary, helping advance forest resilience, partner capacity, and landscape-scale wildfire mitigation efforts.

The Northern Colorado Fireshed Fund (Fireshed Fund) was established in partnership with the National Forest Foundation and the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests. The Fund allows NCFC to cultivate and allocate diverse funding sources to support community partners. Grants may build organizational capacity, enhance fireshed readiness, and increase the pace and scale of forest treatments throughout the region.
